Installation help

Install and start

  1. Get the installer from the official download page.
  2. Check the publisher shown by Windows and follow the installation assistant.
  3. If WebView2 is missing, accept the official Microsoft installation or install it before trying again.
  4. Open Hodogon from its shortcut. Start with a local tool; sign in when you want to use an online service.

If something goes wrong

The download or installation was interrupted

Keep your existing installation and data. Check free disk space and the internet connection, close the installer and try again from the official download page.

Windows reports an unknown publisher or a security warning

Check that the file came from the official page and that its publisher and SHA-256 match the published release. Do not disable Windows protection to run an unexpected or modified file.

An online tool is unavailable

Check your connection and sign-in state. Local tools remain available. A missing model or denied device permission may need a separate action in the tool.

I want to uninstall Hodogon

Use Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Hodogon. Read any data-removal choice carefully and export important work beforehand.

Prepare a useful problem report

Note the Hodogon version, Windows version, affected tool, steps taken and exact error message. Remove passwords, access tokens and private content from screenshots or logs before sharing them. Public support details will be added with the release.
