Crumbs
Leave the game window while you queue — Crumbs calls you back when the match starts.
What it is
Crumbs is a small Windows app that shows a popup and plays a sound the moment your match begins. It finds the games installed on your PC, watches only those, and shows in one dashboard what is connected and ready.
Why it exists
Matchmaking can take minutes, and alt-tabbing away means missing the start of the match. Crumbs watches for the start signal so you can browse, chat or work in the meantime, then come back exactly when it matters.
What you can do
- Detects installed games from Steam, Epic Games, Riot, Battle.net, EA and Ubisoft, plus common game folders on every drive
- Monitors only the games you have, and spots wrong executable names after a game update
- Automatic start detection through Valve Game State Integration, the Riot Live Client API, game logs or a one-time calibration
- A manual hotkey (Num Lock by default) for every game, ready without any setup
- A dark dashboard with your game art, readiness for each game and the live state of every connection
- Add any other installed game in one click from the Discoveries tab
Supported games
- Dota 2 · Counter-Strike 2 — Automatic — Valve Game State Integration (one click to install)
- League of Legends — Automatic — Riot Live Client API
- Hearthstone — Automatic — Power.log
- Fortnite, VALORANT, Rocket League, THE FINALS, Marvel Rivals, Apex Legends — Automatic after a one-time log calibration
- Overwatch 2 — Manual hotkey, or experimental network calibration
- Any other game — Manual hotkey, then calibration when the game writes a usable log
How to install
- Download Crumbs-1.0.0.exe and place it in a folder of its own, for example Documents\Crumbs. Crumbs keeps its settings next to the program.
- Open it. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because the program is not yet code-signed: choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Crumbs scans your games and starts monitoring the ones it finds. Click a game card to test its popup or calibrate it.
Fair play
Crumbs never injects code, never reads game memory, never automates inputs and never captures the screen. It only reads process names, game logs, local game APIs and official integrations. This design is not a certification by game publishers or anti-cheat vendors.
Privacy
Everything runs on your computer. Crumbs sends nothing to Hodogon and has no account. Game art is read from your local Steam library cache.
Independent project
Crumbs is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve, Riot Games, Epic Games, Blizzard Entertainment or any other publisher. Game names are trademarks of their owners.
